An Australian first ‘glamping by the beach’ experience is ready to open early October in Cabarita, Northern NSW. Hideaway is set amongst natural bush with ocean breezes and valley views across the picturesque Tweed Coast and Tweed Valley.

Spacious safari tents have been tastefully decked out with all the creature comforts of home; Hideaway is an outdoor hotel that is unique in sustainable design. Contemporary bathrooms, communal entertaining spaces and the dining hall are housed in repurposed shipping containers.

Native plants adorn the pathways, along with open fire pits perfect for those after-dinner gatherings. Hideaway is ideal for group bookings, family vacays or a romantic getaway for two.

Cabarita Beach is the quintessential beachside town and home to the renowned Halcyon House, which is just a short stroll from Hideaway.  Indulge in a Signature Spa Treatment, a sunset cocktail on the pool deck or a meal from the locally sourced menu at Paper Daisy.

Norries Headland is the crowning glory of the Tweed Coast, with an abundance of whale watching, a world-class surf break (at your doorstep) and magnificent views of the Border Rangers and Wollumbin Mount Warning.

Reminisce of those long summer days and balmy nights, Hideaway is formerly the Cabarita Beach Caravan Park site. A vintage caravan (cabavan) pays homage to the region’s 1960’s retro beach vibe and has been recreated as a children’s play area.
